In September, Team FireSwarm, an XPRIZE Wildfire Competing Team, delivered on a major milestone—the semi-finals round of the XPRIZE Wildfire competition at ACC Innovation’s hangar at Västervik Airfield, Sweden.
This global collaboration brought together powerhouse partners, with XPRIZE technical staff looking on:
Trident Sensing Inc. – fire detection in minutes
Exo Drone – real-time UAV surveillance, eyes in the sky
ACC Innovation AB – First-of-it’s-kind ultra heavy-lift UAS quadcopter with lift capacity of up to 350 kg (close to 900 lbs)
FireSwarm Solutions Inc – integrating our Fire Mission Kit of hardware and software to automate and command the suppression system, transforming the ACC Innovation Thunder Wasp ultra-heavy-lift drone into the Fire Wasp
Together, we proved what’s possible.
